Increased Offertory Program 2024

A Message from Father Maassen

Dear Missionary Disciples of Jesus Christ,

Thank you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, for all you have given us, especially for loving us into existence. No matter what may be happening around us, the parish is our safe haven. It is where we come together as brothers and sisters in Christ to love God and our neighbor. We do that in so many ways, especially as we worship at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the worship that our Lord gave us.

Our parish is not just a place of worship, but also a place of service. United in God’s love, we are a visible sign of the body of Christ, capable of achieving remarkable things. Nourished by prayer and the sacraments, we are all on the path of discipleship, growing in our relationship with Jesus Christ each day. We value faith formation and sharing our faith with others through evangelization. We also understand the importance of bringing God’s love to our neighbors through acts of charity and service. Through our many ministries and outreach programs, we put into action the truth stated by St. John the Apostle: ‘If God so loved us, we also must love one another’ (1 Jn 4:11).

With this in mind, I invite you to respond to our parish’s new and vital stewardship program: Forming Disciples, Leading All to Jesus Christ. Please take the time to review the contents of this brochure and consider, in prayer, how you and your family can actively contribute to the continuation of Jesus Christ’s work through our parish community. We aim to increase our Sunday offertory contributions to bring Jesus Christ to as many people as possible. This is a significant task in today’s climate, but I am confident that our dedicated parishioners are more than capable of rising to the challenge.

On September 28th and 29th, the parish will hold a special Commitment Weekend, inviting members of
our community to come together and make a financial commitment that will allow St. Francis Borgia
Catholic Parish to continue its important work. We are counting on you! By participating in Forming
Disciples, Leading All to Jesus Christ, we respond to God’s great gift of love by loving one another with
the heart of His Son.

Thank you for your generosity, prayers, and commitment to St. Francis Borgia Parish!

In Jesus Christ,

Father Maassen
