Two things...

Dear St Francis Borgia,

Thank you all for your participation and generosity.  As I wrote last week, we are undertaking several vital endeavors.  The surveys we initiated before the Eucharistic Sacrifice last week are integral to what we hope to accomplish through Communio. Why are we doing this? Simply, to improve our lives, enhance marriages, and most importantly, to bring people to Jesus Christ, especially at Mass, the Source and Summit of all Christian life.

I recently received a bid of $100,000 for a new roof for the rectory. We have bids and estimates for all types of work on our various buildings, ranging from those built in the 1800s to our youngest building, constructed in 1935. We are seeking your input on the possibility of launching a capital campaign. Your input will help determine whether we proceed with a capital campaign.

As always, thank you for your generosity in the offertory. The offertory is about our Mission, which is the Mission of Jesus Christ. The parish exists to bring people to Jesus Christ, to love and follow Him, so that they may be joyful in this life and completely joy-filled in the life to come.
